Green Fairy

Green Fairy

ART DIRECTION / ON-PREMISE / PRINT / PACKAGING

The history of absinth comes with mysticism and true magic that dates back to the Dark Ages. Since then, this was the drink of choice of many visionary artists such as Van Gogh and Hemingway, who believed absinth acted as a muse to their creativity. Since conception, it has developed a reputation as a spirit that transforms a room’s atmosphere to one of intrigue and mystery. Popular amongst those on the fringe of society opposed by social conservatives, Green Fairy embodies a drink that is truly 'for the curious’ - our new brand platform.

Our hero visuals provide a blend of darkness and whimsy, celebrating the arts in all shapes and forms to create a modern day interpretation of the Green Fairy story. This was brought to life in pieces such as lenticular posters promoting the 'Green Hour’ and introducing our signature serve ‘Death in the Afternoon' inspired by Ernest Hemingway.
